Das is has an infectious passion for cooking as you will discover during the demonstration part of the evening. He’s also a charismatic speaker whose spiritual outlook on food and on life in general is uplifting and thought-provoking.

As the founder chef of Rasa restaurants, he has a profound understanding of food in all its manifestations from the seed to the plate.

Das has created a school of cooking and hospitality in his native Kerala in the southern most tip of India, where he seeks to preserve the centuries-old traditions of the region’s incredibly rich and diverse cuisine. Here in the UK, he has created a series of restaurants which champion that tradition.

He believes that food is a celebration of life, an outlook he strives to share with everyone with an interest in cooking, big or small.
